R.O.A.R. is a Recreational Outdoor Adventure Retreat for medically fragile children in beautiful Bentley Creek, Pennsylvania in Bradford County. Traditional camping activities are specifically designed and adapted so that children with various medical conditions can participate. Activities during this weekend include:

  • Swimming
  • Boat Rides
  • Fishing
  • Horse Back Riding
  • ATV Rides
  • Nature Exploration
  • Petting Zoo
  • Ice Cream Shop
  • Bonfire
  • Bible Stories
  • Arts & Crafts
  • 24 hour nursing care
The schedule shown gives approximate times and are subject to change based on weather.

8am – Leave Firely Pediatric Services on Maple Avenue
10am – Arrive @ Knoebels
4pm – Leave Knoebels
6pm – Arrive at Bradford County location
6:30pm – Dinner
7:30pm – PM care
8:00pm – Watching Movies/Arts & Crafts
9:00pm – Bedtime
8am – AM care & Breakfast
9am – 4 wheeling (ATV Rides)
10am – Leave for Petting Zoo
1pm – Ice Cream (for those who can eat it)
2:30pm – Return back to house
3pm – Go to Pavilion for boating, ATVs, nursing provided
5pm – PM care
6pm – Dinner
7pm – Bonfire (weather permitting)
8pm – Bedtime

8am – AM care & Breakfast
9am – Horse back riding
12pm – Lunch & stop by for Ice Cream
1pm – 4pm – Return for outdoor activities
4pm – Bible Stories; Arts & Crafts; Baking if raining
5pm – PM Care
6pm – Dinner
8pm – Bedtime

8am – AM care & Breakfast
9am – Movies
11am – Pack
12pm – Leave Bradford County
4pm – Arrive at Firely Pediatric Services on Maple Avenue
